The Canadian Women’s Association (CWA) is a small but active group. At our monthly coffee mornings, generally there is a guest speaker arranged, whom we think you will find interesting as you enjoy our wonderfully delicious spread of morning snacks, coffee/tea and sweets. A raffle is also included, offering a fantastic chance for great prizes.

From within our group of expatriate women, a wealth of advice, support and information is available for anyone new to Jakarta. So why not come out and meet some wonderful people? We welcome guests and new arrivals so don’t be shy! The CWA would be most appreciative of  your support in becoming a member, should you decide to do so. As a volunteer organization, we have lots of interesting projects for you to work on if you find yourself with too much free time in Jakarta.

In these difficult times, that are facing Jakarta, networking, communication and becoming involved in the community around you are even more important to ensure peace of mind and an enjoyable overseas assignment. At present the membership dues are Rp 200,000 for the period Sept 1st to Aug 31st. Payment can be made at an event or bank transfer.
