We want to provide a link through which members (including those who do not generally have the opportunity to attend our monthly coffee mornings) would feel more connected to the Canadian Women’s Association and to a greater part of the Canadian community in Indonesia.

The Social Development Group is always looking for new members. We generally meet once a month to discuss the yayasan (institute) projects. . If you are interested in attending a meeting, please contact us for more information.

There is a whole host of activities that are planned from month to month. We also offer a variety of groups that you can get involved with such as the Social Development group and groups that organize tours, luncheons/dinners and bazaars to name a few.

Time: 11:30-15:00 (you may arrive early and have drinks (coffee, tea, iced tea, juice)

Place: Cinnamon Restaurant, Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Jl. MH Thamrin, Jakarta

The price of the brunch is Rp260,000 net. Half price for children aged 4-12, free for children under 4.

Every mother will receive a voucher from their wellness center.

Description: Our next coffee morning will be something a little different! On May 4, we will be having a CWA Book Swap and Sale. It can be difficult and expensive to find books and magazines in English or French here in Jakarta, so let’s pool our resources. Go through your bookshelves and pull out any books and magazines that you no longer need – fiction or non-fiction, adult or child. Music CDs and movie DVDs also are welcome. Bring them to the venue on May 4, and you can either sell them to or swap them with others. It will be your responsibility to price your own materials and to sell them at the event.

Please note that only paid-up members of CWA will be entitled to sell their media, but everyone is welcome to come and browse and have a coffee. Hope to see you there.
